Visited this place on October 4th and took a private boat ride with my family. The booking staff was polite and explained the places we would be covering on the trip. The boat was clean, and the person operating it was friendly and knowledgeable.
We visited several spots, including the Mangrove Forest, Arrikamedu, River Mouth, and the Fishing Harbour and Port.
At Arrikamedu, the boat stopped for 10-15 minutes, and we had the chance to see the ruins where the PS-1 movie was filmed.
I would definitely recommend Pondy Kinds Boating to everyone!

Had an amezing tour by boat through the mangrove forest. It is an hour long boat trip having 3 points to visit including 1 photo point (boat will wait for 10-15 minutes). The last part i.e. the river junction point with sea is a must visit. Had a great time with family.
Price details: Each boat has a capacity of 12 members. Adults cost Rs. 500 per person, Childern between 2-5 years costs Rs. 250. Infants are free though they are also part of head count.

Very Nice service. Pavithran, Yuvraj and all staff are very nice people. Good hospitality. Boat ride will be about 55 to 60 mins. They take you slowly and nicely no rush at all. Staff Yuvraj helped us by clicking our pics too. Very pleasant experience. Pre book in advance by calling at the given number. Enjoying d the ride. Hope this helps.

Mr Appu of the boat club. The ride was very comfortable and enjoyable .. through the mangroves...fishing harbor... arikkamedu and to the sea mouth and back. I would recommend for any one who was to enjoy a small boat ride.

Its very good experience and can go got it. Specially back waters is good experience. And one more thing what I have observed is, there are different rates for different boat owners and they change prices for different customers, so please enquire there and the maximum amount is 300 per person. Dont spend more than that.

It was very exciting and knowledgeable one hour journey to mangroves, oldest french fort entrance and the points where back water river meets the sea and the most adventurous movement when boat was shaking by the waves. The boat was driven by Madi was excellent.Great!!!
