A memorable boating experience in Puducherry, especially if you enjoy scenic views and a touch of adventure. We chose the evening slot, and watching the sun set over the water made the trip truly special. Safety jackets were provided, and the ride lasted around an hour.
The host(Kalai bro) was incredibly friendly and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. He took plenty of photos for us, which was a thoughtful touch, and explained the significance and stories behind each place we visited. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the trip much more interesting. Highly recommended!. If you’re planning to go, the sunset slot is definitely the best choice.

Pondy Kings Boating staff (Bhavi, Satish, Appu, others) were courteous and helpful. Satish informed us about the Port, Mangroves and Arikamedu during the boat ride.
The stop at Arikamedu was good as we got time to see the ruins.
Small samosas at the shop in Arikamedu were delicious.
Unfortunately (for us) no tea or coffee was available.
It would have been better if more time was spent navigating through the mangroves area.
Overall the ride was safe and it was a good experience.
Request to PKB staff.
The PKB staff should tell the passengers not to litter, either during the boat ride or at the Arikamedu site. Plastic bottles, wrappers, etc.. can be brought back to the starting point and deposited in the dustbin over there.

Had a wonderful backwater boat ride with Pondy Kings Boating! The experience was really enjoyable and the beautiful backwaters made the trip even more memorable.
A special thanks to our trip leader Pavi and his friend for being so friendly, helpful and making sure we had a great time throughout the ride. They were very accommodating, kept the atmosphere fun and made the experience comfortable for everyone.
Overall, a fantastic experience and definitely something I would recommend to anyone visiting Pondicherry. Thank you, Pavi and team, for the wonderful memories! 🚤🌴😊
